A Word from our Sponsor

Welcome to Troop 122's website.
The congregation of First United Methodist Church and specifically the Contemporary Theology Sunday School Class has served as the charter organization for the troop since the church was chartered in 1995.

Even more significantly, Troop 122 has called 3rd and Elm home for over 50 years. For many years different groups in Central United Methodist Church served as charter organizations: The Men's Fellowship Group, The Willing Workers, Asbury Explorers, and Contemporary Theology Sunday School Classes.

Many members have served Troop 122 in many leadership roles and others have been financial supporters as well. The United Methodist Men were long time supporters and the Phil Rothrock Memorial provided over $1300 in Camperships for scouts to attend summer camp.

Many Troop 122 Eagles have been members of the churches and several eagle projects have benefited the Church. We remain grateful for each of those projects. But more importantly, we have watched as energetic young boys have grown and matured in the troop and become very focused young men.

First United Methodist Church is proud of our relationship with Troop 122 and its historical connection to this place.

If you are a first time visitor to the Troop's website, and are looking for a troop to call home, we encourage you to attend a meeting. Get to know the boys and leaders in the troop. They are leaders in their schools, businesses, churches, civic and professional organizations in Rogers, Northwest Arkansas and beyond.
There are many very high quality troops in Northwest Arkansas, but you will not find a finer troop than 122.

If you are new to Northwest Arkansas or are looking for a new church home as well, please visit our website, http://www.fumcrogers.org/, and see what the people of First United Methodist Church are about.

A Church Alive, First United Methodist Church is a community of faith where every member is in ministry, offering Christ, transforming lives and changing our world by the power of the Holy Spirit.
